All members are invited and encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting of Members. It is at this meeting when we begin the process of electing new members to the Board of Directors. Only members in the Governing categories are eligible to participate in the nomination and election of the Board. The election process is explained to all members present, and nominations are fielded for any open position(s) on the Board of Directors.
Finances of the previous year are reviewed, as well as our collective accomplishments. It is also a time when we begin the process of setting annual goals for the church, wherein the members give input into what types of activities and programs they would like to see during the coming year. This is done through meditation and group prayer. Check the church calendar for the next Annual Meeting. You will typically find it in the beginning of the calendar year. |
