Beginning Level Classes

Meditation I
The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks. A new class starts every six weeks.
In Meditation 1 we teach the basic psychic tools necessary to become aware of the energetic or spiritual aspect of the self: earth and cosmic energies, the aura, chakras and connection to the planet. By being grounded (connected to the earth) and running energy through the body in a conscious way students experience the effect of using these tools to let go of stress, demands and old problems. We teach people to visualize themselves, the tools, and their own flow of energy.

Meditation II
Prerequisite: Meditation 1
This is a six week class taught approximately twice a year, depending on the number of people interested. The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks.
As a continuation of Meditation 1, this class teaches more awareness of the student’s personal energy flow. Students learn to control their chakras and thus many aspects of their spiritual and physical lives. Students learn to recognize and process environmental, social and emotional influences and learn meditation tools that help in this.

Healing I
Prerequisite: Meditation 1
This is a six week class taught approximately every other class session (sessions are six weeks long). The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks.
In this class students learn to create spiritual wellness for themselves and others. Students learn to recognize and identify spirit, including self, guides (which in other faiths may be called “angels”), and God. Students learn a simple procedure for spiritual healing, spiritual communication, and the fostering of spiritual health in all its aspects. The state of spiritual wellness can be equated with a sense of wholeness, unity, and purity of consciousness which facilitates all communication, including prayer.

Healing II
Prerequisites: Meditation 1 and Healing 1
This is a six week class taught approximately twice a year, depending on the number of people interested. The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks.
In this class we continue teach the basics of spiritual healing, spiritual communication, and how spiritual health ties into physical and social well-being. Students refine their ability to recognize and identify spirit including guides (“angels” to some), God, and Christ.

Women’s Intuition
Prerequisite: Meditation 1
This is a six week class taught every three to four months, depending on the number of people interested. The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks.
In this class female students learn the particulars of having a female body and the implications this has for the practice of meditation and spiritual awareness. Female energy has a higher vibration than male energy. Besides, the female reproductive organs need a different awareness of energy management than does a male body. This class is generally taught to female students only, but if men are interested, they too can participate.

Men’s Class
Prerequisite: Meditation 1
This is a six week class taught approximately twice a year, depending on the number of people interested. The class meets once a week for three hours per class and lasts six weeks.

This class teaches men about the dynamics of grounding and running energy through a male body. Classes are designed to enhance males’ awareness of the flow of energy through their bodies, and specific techniques to control that flow of energy. This course is the correlate of the Women’s Intuition course; while it is taught primarily to men only, if women are interested, they can participate as well.

Community Workshops
Meetings always start with a meditation, followed by a fellowship activity in which members are able to socialize with one another and build community ties. We discuss issues such as the monthly finances of the church, upcoming classes and activities, and any other topics submitted to the agenda by staff or community members. There is often a candle-lighting ceremony and prayer, followed by the dissemination of lessons from the staff member leading the workshop. The monthly workshops involve spiritual teachings and exercises led by one of the teaching staff of the church. Some are open to clairvoyant program students and graduates only, some to all members of the public. The workshops cover a variety of topics designed to enhance attendees’ understanding of meditation, prayer, and healing practices, as well as provide church members an opportunity to discuss important issues facing the church community. Past topics have included Spiritual Goal Setting, Manifesting Miracles, Spiritual Alignment, Akashic Records, and many more. Workshops end with a closing meditation and prayer.
