This ceremony can be done either as a Funeral at the time of burial, or cremation, or at a later date as a Memorial service. It serves to commemorate the end of life of a person’s physical body, and their passing from the physical-plane into the spiritual-plane. This involves acknowledging the life and accomplishments of the deceased, and allows their surviving loved ones the chance to express their love and appreciation. The ceremony furthermore involves helping the loved ones of the decedent to grieve, and to let go of the deceased person that goes forward into the afterlife.
